Tridents from the Twin Towers

Each of these steel columns is the base of a trident, the three-branched architectural element that gave the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center their distinctive lower facades. These are two of the six that formed the structural perimeter of the North Tower. They are displayed at the 9/11 Museum in New York City.
