My image "Pawley's Island Pier" has been selected for the 5th annual tri-state juried show, "Relishing Restraint," at The Loft Artists Association in Stamford, Connecticut. The show runs from August 17-September 23 at their gallery at 575 Pacific Street. Only 62 entries were accepted out of 230 submissions. The show theme explores how contemporary artists have embraced limitations imposed by space, finances, materials, identity or time to enhance or transform their practice for the better. The Loft Artists Association was founded in 1978 as the vision of three artists living and working in the Yale & Towne factory building in Stamford. It has evolved to become one of Stamford's premier visual arts organizations dedicated to creating ties between creative individuals and the community.
